Hello, I am Socket (OmbSocket on NewGrounds). Not long ago I've started making instrumental music and what I finish is uploaded to few different sites. I enjoy listening to 90's death and black metal, which may or may not show much in my work. I have got some new albums from new artists, though almost nothing from the 2000's as I am still exploring the older stuff.
It won't be far from the truth to say the structure of my songs goes along the lines of "ABCDFG". Since there aren't vocals to fill the sound, I usually tend to keep the different sections of a song short. I dislike overproduction, but I know that some amount of production done right can really change the sound, though I don't know much about how to do it right. The reason my current music has little production is a bit of both.
So far I have uploaded only two tracks, but I am working on others. It would be an exaggeration to say I have a style, but I think this track here would be a good example of what I do: www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/905905
