What tuning do you use for your instruments? Do you favour one over the others? Do you change regularly?
For 6 strings I tend to favour drop C tuning - all down 2 semitones and the 6th string down 4. This was because I wanted lower sounds and standard tuning wasn't doing it for me.
For my 7 string guitar I'll experiment with a few but I think I'll stick to Drop A tuning (same setup as before but the 7th is down 4 instead of the 6th).
I feel drop tuning gives you more freedom but it limits the kinds of chords you can play so I'll gladly consider your ideas.
