Started off in my teenage years messing around with Black Metal in high school (including vocals), before joining Newgrounds super-late 2011, then messing around electronically until I started to try and make Hellektro/Aggrotech from there. Branched out massively over the years to also touch Dark Cinematic, Ambient and other experimental sub-genre's. LDW in 2020 is more of a side-branch towards focusing on Cinematic, more horror-focused orchestration, some Dark Ambient and maybe some metal here and there (interested in doing a DOOM 2016/Eternal styled track in the next month or two)
I'm roughly 95% in-the-box, with a pretty hefty collection of Kontakt Libs, mixing utilities, hardware emulations, softsynths, sample banks etc. Although I do have some rack equipment and stomps kicking around plus mic's if I want to sample anything or if I have a friend/guest over with their own equipment to use for whatever.
Did seriously think about doing a Black Metal album at some point under a different project/band name either this year or next year (with stylistic influences from the likes of Weakling, Convulsing, early-Blut Aus Nord etc.), but I don't think too many people would be impressed if the entire thing is just Shreddage 3, Bassym-F and SD2 TMF making up the entire thing no matter how much I humanise it and contribute my own vocals haha
