Hi there. Been a newgrounder for quite a while. I make a lot of music, lately mostly jazz, but rock and metal are still a big part of my interests. Some of my rock/ metal tracks I have here: Rock & Metal Set on Soundcloud
or Guitar Based EP on Soundcloud
I also produced several albums for different bands, most recent is this one: Soul Eater by Lady Albatross
Back in my youth I participated to Eurovision with this band. Now I do very very different stuff

Welcome! Thanks for joining. I look forward to debating intricate details of production with you. Eurovision? Hahaha amazing. That's a legendary claim to fame.
What's your current favourite genre to write in?

Eurovision was a gimmick to give some visibility to the band... which split one year after. As a certain president of a certain country would say: "sounds good, it doesn't work" I love stuff like Plini, David Maxim Micic, Hago...etc, so I try to do that. I use now computer stuff that is (to the moment, with my setup) impossible to make live, such as, bit reduction automation on guitars, pitch freezer, heavy filtering to sound like telephone... etc. I usually combine that with jazz harmonies and hopefully will come with something interesting.

Hey Sorohanro, Love your work. Good to see you here. Never new you entered Eurovision. I hate Eurovision so that's so funny The song doesn't sound too bad. Some serious talent there. Hope you all did well after you split up.

Ah yeah, the age old debate - should you produce a song that's impossible to make live but sounds incredible on CD or go for a more "live" production? Personally I'm all for the "over produce everything" way. To hell with live (since I never perform live anymore).

Not really a debate for me. I think Beatles, Zappa or Hendrix did that in the 70s with all that crazy reverse tape, chopping recordings, multitracking...etc. However, computers get smaller, cheaper and more powerful each year, so we can already actually do a live show with them. I'm just too lazy to think of it
